Anandam fame Anarkali Marikar has signed her next movie Amala, where she will play the
protagonist. She will be paired opposite Sarath, of Angamaly Diaries fame.
The actor, who has finished the shoot of Prithviraj-starrer Vimanam, says though the movie revolves around her character, it isn’t a women-oriented subject.
“Though I play the protagonist Amala, Sarath and I have the same importance in this movie.
However, this isn’t a women-oriented subject.
We have five to six other important charactrers also,” she added. Amala, which is said to be a serious movie, will be shot in and around Athirappally.
The movie is directed by Safeer Thailan and produced by Mascot Productions.
