NEW DELHI: Following the arrest of six Uzbeki women, Delhi police claimed to have busted an alleged high-profile prostitution racket being   run from the national capital. Those nabbed included a woman pimp, and the arrests took place on Tuesday after a tip-off that an international call girl racket was operating from south Delhi. And all the arrested persons belonged to the 27-33 age group.

Meanwhile, a trap was set up for nabbing the gang and a policeman sent as a decoy customer. He managed to strike a deal through a local pimp and all the accused were arrested, said a senior police official.

According to police, the woman pimp was staying on rented premises and some of the girls lived with her, while for some others she had arranged accommodation in Vasant Vihar.
