Yukta Mookhey lodges plaint against husband

Express News Service

Former Miss World Yukta Mookhey has approached the police against her husband Prince Tuli alleging cruelty and ‘unnatural sex’.

Based on her complaint, the police registered an FIR against Tuli under Section 498 A (subjected to cruelty by husband) and Section 377 (unnatural sex). Mookhey’s medical examination was conducted on Friday.

This is not the first instance of Mookhey lodging a complaint against Tuli, a New York-based businessman and financial consultant. In the past, she had accused him of several non-cognisable offences. However, the non-cognisable offences were withdrawn after the couple patched up.

Mookhey was crowned Miss World at the age of 20 in 1999 and also acted in a few Hindi films.

She married Tuli, a Punjabi whose family owns several businesses ranging from logistics, hotels, malls, education and construction equipment, in 2008.
