Ravindra Kumar elected new president of INS

Ravindra Kumar of  The Statesman  newspaper has been elected as president of the Indian Newspaper Society for the year 2013-14 at its 74th annual general meeting held here on Friday.  He succeeds K N Tilak Kumar of Deccan Herald & Prajavani.

Kiran B Vadodaria of Sambhaav Metro is the new deputy president and P V Chandran of Grihalakshmi is the vice-president. Sanjay Gupta of Dainik Jagran, Varanasi is the new honorary treasurer of the society.

V Shankaran has been elected as the secretary general.
