AURANGABAD: A major fire broke out on Saturday in a firecracker market, gutting more than 150 stalls and 30 vehicles parked nearby, but no casualty was reported, police officials said.

The root cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. More than half a dozen fire tenders accompanied with water tankers were rushed to the spot and the flames were doused in over an hour, the officials said.

The situation is brought under control.
