Blaze breaks out in Brajeshwari Annex Colony; cause under investigation, rescue operation over

INDORE: Seven persons were killed after a fire broke out at a house in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city early on Wednesday, police said.

The blaze erupted at the house located in Brajeshwari Annex Colony between 3.30 am and 4.30 am, Assistant Commissioner of Police Kundan Mandloi told PTI.

"The bodies of seven persons have been recovered from the house. Rescue operation is over. The fire has been brought under control," he said.

The cause of the fire was being ascertained, the official said.
