New Delhi, Dec 13 (PTI) World youth champion SachinSiwach was today named the Asian Boxing Confederation's bestyouth boxer of the year after winning an online poll conductedby the continental body.
Siwach, who the world title last year, claimed the Asianyouth championships silver this year besides a gold at theYouth Commonwealth Games.
Siwach polled 36.2 per cent votes in his category in theonline poll to claim the top honours.
India also fetched the Best Asian International TechnicalOfficial (ITO) award with Lenny D'Gama winning the onlinepoll.
D'Gama officiated at the ASBC Asian Confederation JuniorBoxing Championships in Puerto Princesa and also in the AsianWomen's Boxing Championships in Ho Chi Minh City.
D'Gama polled 45.5 per cent of the total votes to claimthe award. PTI PMPM.
