Kolkata, Nov 3 (PTI) The third edition of ApeejayBangla Sahitya Utsob (ABSU) 2017, India's first Banglaliterary festival, was inaugurated today in presence ofeminent writers Shankha Ghosh, Sanjib Chattopadhyay andImdadul Haq Milon.

The ABSU, organised by Oxford Bookstores inassociation with Patra Bharati, will be held for three daysthis time.

Speaking to reporters, Festival Director SwagatSengupta said, "We are happy to extend ABSU for three days inits third edition."The inaugural address, 'Bangla sahityer haalhaquiqat', was delivered by Sanjib Chattapadhay.

It was followed by the announcement of shortlist forthe Big Little Book Award 2017, instituted by the Paraginitiative of Tata Trusts, to recognise regional authors andillustrators of children's literature. PTI SUSSBN.
