Kolkata, Nov 22 (PTI) Three Bengali feature films havemade the cut to the feature section of Indian Panorama of the48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

While Kaushik Ganguly's 'Bisorjon' and Pratim DGupta's 'Maacher Jhol' figure in the other Indian languagefilms of the Indian Panorama, Anik Dutta's 'Meghnad BadhRahasya' has been included in the section's mainstream cinemasub-category.

"This is a well-deserved debut for Pratim D Gupta inthe Indian Panorama and Machher Jhol will certainly tickletastebuds of the film festival audience," one of the importantactors of the film Paoli Dam said today.

Ganguly, who is travelling to Goa for the eighthconsecutive year for a screening of his film at the IndianPanorama, confirmed he will be in Goa on November 24.

Ganguly had first won the IFFI award - the SilverPeacock - for 'Arekti Premer Golpo' in IFFI 2010.

Dutta's Bengali feature film 'Meghnad Badh Rahasya' isamong the mainstream cinema category in the Indian Panoramasection.

The reputed ad film maker's debut feature film'Bhooter Bhabishyat' (2012) was a blockbuster.

In the Indian Panorama section's non-feature category,there are three Bengali films - 'Dugga' by Chandrasish Ray,'Our Grandparents' Home' by Supriyo Sen and 'Palash' byVaibhav Hiwase.

The 48th edition of the IFFI is being held betweenNovember 20 and 28 in Goa. PTI SUSNN.
