Jaipur, Nov 24 (PTI) Eight people were killed, includinga toddler, and seven others injured in separate road accidentsin Rajasthan since yesterday, the police said.

Three men were killed today after a truck hit a busstanding near a hotel on the National Highway (NH)-8 in Ajmerdistrict, they said.

The bus driver Maru Lal (45), conductor Shankar (30) anda passenger Vikas (40) were killed in the accident, AssistantSub-Inspector (ASI) Jitendra Kumar said, adding that they diedon the spot.

A case has been registered against the truck's driver,the officer said.

In Alwar district, a tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle,killing a 38-year-old woman and injuring two others today nearKesarpur village, the police said.

Jaibuna died on the spot while her husband and brother-in-law were injured. The body was handed over to familymembers after post-mortem, ASI Prakash Chand said.

A case was registered against the tractor's driver, hesaid.

Yesterday, in Alwar district's Neemrana, four people,including a one-year-old girl were killed and five othersinjured after a container truck overturned and hit a jeep onthe NH-8, SHO Hitesh Sharma said.

Sunita Yogi (40), Sarla Dhanak (50), Gudia (1) and thejeep's driver Rajendra alias Kalu died on the spot. Thetruck's driver and five others were injured, he said.

The bodies were handed over to family members afterpost-mortem and a case has been registered, the officer said.
