Mumbai, Oct 22 (PTI) Megastar Amitabh Bachchan hasthanked the team of the TV game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati 9"for their tirelessness and patience.

As the ninth installment of KBC is nearing its end, the75-year-old star took this opportunity to thank the crewbehind the Sony show.

"KBC draws to an end... And the signs of its finishingbecome abundant... This most complicated game show would neverbe the same if it were not for the dedicated and mostconstructive team of almost 450 personnel, working tirelesslyround the clock in the varied and various departments of theshow...

"Thank you dear KBC team for your patience and yourefficiency... Your detailing and the intelligent outputs inits programming..." Bachchan posted on his official blog.

The "Pink" actor admitted that the show takes a toll onone but it is worth all the pain.

"Yes it drains you... It diminishes your faculties by theend of the day... But there is something that invites you eachmorning as you get up to ready yourself for the gruel in theday of the contest..."Bachchan also thanked the audience for showering the loveon "KBC", which began in 2000 and making it the number showagain.

"Thank you all... for making this another historic eventin the history of the show... 17 years ago it created historyand you have made it happen again... That is no small task...

The show is No 1 in its rankings and has brought the ChannelSony to No 1 position.. Exactly what it did in the past... inthe year 2000," he wrote. PTI RDSRDS.
