By Gurdip SinghSingapore, Jan 10 (PTI) Indian broadcasting company TataSky is expanding its long-term partnership with aNetherlands-based digital security firm to ensure that itscontent remains secure.

In addition, Tata Sky recently selected Irdeto to enhanceits end-to-end solution for over-the-top (OTT) contentservices, the company said.

OTT is the audio, video, and other media contentdelivered over the Internet without the involvement of amultiple-system operator (MSO) in the control or distributionof the content.

Irdeto's OTT solutions simplify the operations andworkflow of supporting multiple digital rights management(DRM) systems, it said.

Tata Sky will implement Irdeto Cloaked CA and Middlewareto deliver an improved customer experience while ensuring thatits valuable content remains secure.
