India's Sudha Singh failed to qualify for the next stage by finishing 12th in her heat in the women's 3000m Steeplechase at the World Athletics Championships here Saturday.
Kenya dominated the race with Milcah Chemos Cheywa and Hyvin Kiyeng Jepkemoi topping the time sheets clocking 9:36.16 and 9:36.19 respectively. The other runners who completed the top five and advanced in the competition were Ethiopian Sofia Assefa, Ukraine's Valentyna Zhudina and Salima Elouali Alami of Morocco.
Sudha produced a time of 9:51.05.
