Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza has recorded a new landmark in Tokyo winning her 18th career WTA doubles title.

Sania and her partner Cara Black emerged victorious in the final of Toray Pan Pacific Open today.

After losing the first set 4-6, Mirza and Black staged a comeback to win the next two 6-0 11-9 against Chan Hao-Ching of Chinese Taipei and Liezel Huber of USA.

In fact, the Indo-Zimbabwean duo was down 7-9 in the Super Tie Breaker, but won four points in a row to run away with the trophy.

This is also the fourth crown this season for the 26-year-old Indian who is ranked 15th in the WTA doubles rankings.
