Jenson Button Gets 2015 Mclaren Seat

The 2015 Formula One season is going to be Button’s 16th year in the sport.

The Formula One team, McLaren, has taken a long time to announce its driver’s line-up for the 2015 season. Despite there were speculations that the British team would choose Danish Kevin Magnussen over the 2009 world champion Jenson Button, the final decision is the other way round.

It is learnt that the team has decided to retain Button to give him his 16th season of F1. A press meet will be held on Thursday announce the line up for 2015 with Button and Ex-Ferrari Fernando Alonso.

Meanwhile, the 22-year old racer, Magnussen tweeted that he has had a great time with the senior man and no matter whoever gets the 2015 seat, they are still going to be on good terms.
