July 5, 1958

Premjit Lall lost to Ear Bucholz of US 6-1, 6-3 in the finals of boys junior tournament.

June 29, 1960

Neil Fraser of Australia beats Ramanathan Krishnan. 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals.

July 5, 1961

Australia’s Rod Laver defeated Ramanathan Krishnan in the semi finals men’s singles. 6-2, 8-6, 6-2.

World number one Sania Mirza (India) with Swiss partner Martina Hingis (Slovakia) won the Women’s Doubles title in London defeating Ekaterina Makarova (Russia), Elena Vesnina (Ukraine) 5-7, 7-6(7/4), 7-5.

Leander Paes and Hingis beat the Austrian-Hungarian pair of Alexander Peya and Timea Babos 6-1, 6-1 at Centre Court at Wimbledon, racing to victory in only 40 minutes. It was Paes' eighth mixed doubles title and second with Hingis.

Indian tennis player Sumit Nagal etched his name in the history books on Sunday by winning the Wimbledon boys' doubles title with Vietnamese partner Nam Hoang Ly. The 17-year-old Nagal and Ly, seeded eighth, defeated American-Japanese fourth seeds Reilly Opelka and Akira Santillan 7-6(4), 6-4 in the final in an hour and three minutes on No.1 Court of the All England Club.
