BHUBANESWAR: Mohun Bagan will meet Bengaluru FC in the Federation Cup final at the Barabati Stadium. The defending champions defeated arch-rivals East Bengal 2-0 in the second semifinal here on Sunday to book their date with the Southern side.

Bengaluru goalkeeper Amrinder Singh saved a last-minute penalty by Lalram Chullova to help his team move into the final with a 1-0 win over I-League champions Aizawl FC in the first semifinal.

Bagan’s Scottish forward Darryl Duffy grabbed the game’s first goal in the 35th minute, converting midfielder Sony Norde’s cross from the left flank.

The second goal came via a magnificent volley by striker Balwant Singh in the 84th minute, with the former Churchill Brothers striker converting a pass from skipper Katsumi Yusa.
