In response to the Express report on incidents of violence against women in India which prompted Switzerland’s No 1 player to skip the meet, World Squash Federation said they were satisfied with the security.

Andrew Shelley, WSF chief executive, said, “There are over 250 players and officials from 28 countries, including a full squad from Switzerland. Like the WSF, they all have complete confidence with the security arrangements.” The WSF official said participants were happy with arrangements at the hotel and venues provided by the local organisers.
