HYDERABAD: Refuting allegations that terror suspect Viqar Ahmed was influenced by the preachings and teachings of the Darsgah Jihad-O-Shahadat (DJS), its chief Mahboob Ali today said terrorism would prevail in the country till the Babri Masjid was reconstructed at the same place in Ayodhya.

Speaking to mediapersons, Mahboob Ali claimed that the demolition of the Babri Masjid had given birth to terrorism and the mosque’s reconstruction would bring an end to the menace. “Wherever there is injustice, violence takes birth.

It is the same case with naxalism,’’ he said.

Reacting to the allegations of Viqar Ahmed’s father that the DJS had spoiled his child, Mahboob Ali said it was Viqar who had cheated him. “He joined the DJS as Ali Khan. I didn’t know his real name till his father told me. I don’t know how many of my students were spoiled by Viqar. He joined my outfit with a pre-planned agenda,’’ Mahboob Ali claimed. “How can I brainwash him when he used to come for one hour in a week to undergo training?’’ he asked. Mahboob Ali said his family itself had fallen prey to the ISI and his grandson had joined its ranks and was presently being trained in a terror camp in Pakistan. “I have been asking my students to keep away from the ISI,’’ he claimed.
