HYDERABAD: Bhargavi, who died under suspicious circumstances, has earned a name as a hardworking girl and many in the industry believe that it is this hardwork which made her climb the ladder of success from a dancer to anchor and finally fulfilling her wish of acting in films.

Her role of a smart and traditional village belle in ‘Ashta Chamma’ had been a hit with the masses. About five projects, including ‘Holidays’ and a film along side Sharwanand which has Mohan Babu and Ramyakrishna in the lead and is being produced by Kumaraswamy, are in various stages of production.

Before ‘Ashta Chamma’, she did few serials like ‘Ammamma.com’ and `Amrutham’ produced by Just Yellow banner and anchored programmes like `Maa Vuri Vanta’.

She also participated in the popular Zee TV dance show `Aata’.

When contacted Satish Kumar, director of ‘Holidays’ said: ``Bhargavi is a good girl. She introduced Bujji aka Praveen Kumar as her maternal uncle and said that he would looks after her dates.

“He used to call her up when we were away from the City for 25 days shooting in Vizag. She used to talk to him and everything seemed fine. Had he married her, I believe, he would have visited her at least once,’’ he reasoned.

“The movie part involving `Bhargavi’ has been completed.

Though a couple of sequences are left, we will have to re-adjust everything,’’ he said.

According to him she is supposed to attend the opening of her new film today. When contacted ‘Ashta Chamma’ director Indraganti Mohan Krishna said that he felt very sad to know of her death.
