HYDERABAD: Prof Kalidas Sen, seniormost faculty in the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad has been awarded the `Jagadish Chandra Bose National Fellowship’ by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.

This award is conferred on him for his contribution in the field of chemical sciences.

The J C Bose Fellowship carries an honorarium of Rs. 20,000 per month. Prof. Sen will also receive a contingency of Rs 5 lakh per annum for attending conferences and other expenses.

In addition to this, Prof. Kalidas Sen will be eligible for regular research grants through the extramural funding schemes of various science and technology agencies of the Government of India.
