HYDERABAD: Well-Known film actor and BJP State vice-president K Naresh today resigned from the party post, expressing displeasure over the leadership’s ``failure to curb indiscipline and unwillingness to take responsibility for the party’s poor performance in the elections’’.

His follower and Anantapur BJP leader M Srinivas Reddy resigned from the party. Both sent in their their resignation letters to State unit president B Dattatreaya and BJP’s state incharge Prakash Javdekar by fax.

Naresh contested from the Hindupur Lok Sabha constituency unsuccessfully. He joined the party in 1998 and served in different posts.
