HYDERABAD: The elections will play with the nerves of the candidates. The candidates wait for the result with nervousness for days together. If the margins are big enough, the candidates will be at ease and if things go wrong and margins becomes slender, they will feel a literal hell till the result is declared.
If the results in 44 constituencies of the state are observed which were won with below 2,000 votes margin, one can tell easily how the polls play with the fate of the candidates.
In the Assembly elections, in about 44 constituencies the candidates win the polls with below 2,000 margin.
While the Congress had won 25 seats with such a slender margin, the Telugu Desam won 13, the Telangana Rashta Samiti won 2 and the Praja Rajyam won 4. The Congress party had won the Janagao constituency with 296 votes, Kaluwakurty with 597, Pinapaka with 349 and Penamaluru with 177 votes.
In case of Telugu Desam party its candidates won the Uravakonda with 242 votes, Adoni with 256 and Mudhol with 183 votes. While the Praja Rajyam party had won the Nellore city with 90 votes and won the Vijayawada east with 190 votes.
