HYDERABAD: The BJP today sought an `explanation’ from the Centre on how the Liberhan Commission report on Babri demolition was leaked to the media without it being tabled in Parliament.

In a press release here today, BJP State president B Dattatreya said that the report was submitted to the prime minster and and Union home minister on June 30.

It was not tabled in Parliament in the last five months but a selective portion of it was leaked to the media, he alleged.

Some contents of the report targeting Vajpayee, Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi were released to the media without releasing the entire report, he said.
