TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has introduced a new dress code for the Srivari Seva volunteers, which will come into effect on the occasion of Radhasaptami next year. The men volunteers should wear white pant or dhoti and white shirt and women olive green sari and blouse for performing the service.

TTD had started the Srivari Seva with a motto of Manava Seve Madhava Seva in 2000, so that devotees can serve fellow pilgrims voluntarily. Starting with 200 sevaks, so far in the last 11 years over 3.5 lakh pilgrims have rendered service to fellow pilgrims under the voluntary service.

The services of Srivari Sevaks are being utilised in Annadanam, queue lines, Kalyanakatta, free bus, PACs, health, vigilance, CRO, information counters, publication stalls, garden and 40 other important areas.
