HYDERABAD: APCC president Botcha Satyanarayana wanted leaders of other political parties in the state also to have a ‘consensus’ in their respective parties on state bifurcation issue. “I hope other political parties will also start consultations process on the lines of the Congress to have consensus. Even Union home minister P Chidambaram suggested to the political parties in the state to do the same,he said.

Talking to newsmen at the Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, the APCC chief appealed to Telangana employees’ union to withdraw their proposed strike and cooperate with the Centre, which is making efforts to have a permanent solution.

He urged Telangana and Seemandhra leaders not to indulge in provocative statements but continue with their respective programmes without hurting the sentiments of others.  He said the Centre was seized of the matter. The process for a solution was on and the uncertainty would end soon, he said.
