VIJAYAWADA: YSR Congress leader Ambati Rambabu said that the congress has been harrasing its own MLAs, who are supporting YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

With the chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy asking his party leaders, who are not interested with the party leadership, can resign from the party in a public meeting in north coastal Andhra recently, he alleged that the Congress hatched a plan to harass the Pro- JaganMLAs.

Responding to a query on the chief minister’s statement that the YSR Congress is a not a threat to them in the state, he dared the Congress government to go for the local body elections, where the strength of each party will be known. If they(Congress) have the strength why are they delaying the local body elections in the name of the enumeration of the BCs? he questioned.

Commenting on the appointment of Botcha Satynarayana as the PCC chief , he said that the move could hardly change the fate of party in the state.
