HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday raided GMR Aero Towers, the office of the GMR group located at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), in connection with Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s illegal assets case and seized some documents.

Two CBI officials led the raid.

CBI believes GMR had reportedly invested Rs 50 crore in Jaganmohan Reddy’s companies. The CBI team descended on GMR office in the evening and began scrutinising documents. Reports said the CBI also grilled some senior employees of GMR.

Meanwhile, some representatives of Dalmia Cements and Soma Enterprises appeared before the investigating agency in connection with Jaganmohan Reddy’s illegal assets case.

It is reported that the CBI grilled them for couple of hours.
