‘Srikrishna Panel squelched Telangana people opinions in report’

Express News Service

Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman Prof M Kodandaram strongly criticised justice Srikrishna for justifying his report on the situation of Andhra Pradesh, and alleged that he failed to incorporate Telangana people’s opinion in his 600-page report.

Kodandaram met Telangana Nagara Samithi chief Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Friday and thanked him for his contribution to the success of the Telangana March.

Speaking on the occasion, he said although the Telangana organisations had submitted a thousand-page report in support of Telangana statehood demand, they were neglected by the Justice Srikrishna Committee and it failed to find a solution.

He questioned why the Committee submitted Chapter 8 report secretly to the government.

Srikrishna should give an explanation to the people of Telangana for its secret report, he demanded.
