VISAKHAPATNAM: A two-day national management meet, ASTHRA-2015, organised by Gayathri Vidhya Parishad School of Management Studies, was inaugurated Thursday. It is to showcase the talents of aspiring managers and an attempt to build competencies among management students.
Chief guest Prof PS Rao, director-general, Research Centre of Gayathri Vidhya Parishad, advised the participants to be focussed and dedicated in the chosen field, emerging themselves as competent leaders.
Guest of honour Siva Kumar stressed the need for organising such events and deliberated on the importance of social networking and cloud computing, which can be used by the students for professional growth. He also threw up entrepreneurial ideas.
