CM Prays at Dokiparru Temple

MACHILIPATNAM:Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has offered prayers at the newly- constructed Sri Bhu Sametha Venkateswara Swamy temple at Dokiparru village in Gudlavalleru mandal of the district on Saturday evening.

The CM, who arrived by a helicopter along with irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and MP CM Ramesh, was accorded a warm welcome. The CM, who was greeted with the traditional ‘Poorna Kumbham’, was invited into the temple by the priests and temple trustees PP Reddy and PV Krishna Reddy.

After circumambulating the temple, Naidu offered prayers and he was given ‘Veda Ashirvachanam’ by the priests there. He also visited the ‘Yaga Sala’ and ‘Homagunda’ in the temple before leaving for Gannavaram Airport from where he left for Rajahmundry.
