CHITHOOR:  The squabbles among the security agencies came to fore following the reported admonishing by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu over seizure of red sanders logs from his farm fields located in Narayavaripalli in Chittoor district recently.

According to sources, Naidu expressed his displeasure over the security lapse at a review meeting held in his chambers in Vijayawada on Thursday.

Sources say that the incident also highlights the raging cold war between the top brass of the Red Sanders Anti Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) and the police department. The forest department and RSASTF top officials have viewed this seriously and have launched a probbe to find out who brought the issue to the notice of the Chief Minister, sources said.
