8,658 Qualify PG Medical Entrance

VIJAYAWADA:  Results of PG Medical Entrance Test held on February 28 were announced, on Monday, by Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas, at NTR University of Health Sciences.

Out of the total 13,252 candidates, who wrote the entrance test, only 8,658 qualified. There are a total 2,532 PG medical seats in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Out of total seats, 1,860 are convener quota and the remaining 666 are in management quota.

Ch Venkata Viswa Vikranth, K Sumant and A Sarala Priya had secured first three ranks and all of them were from Andhra University region. Dates of counselling would be announced later.

The health minister was all praise for NTRUHS vice chancellor T Ravi Raju for not only successfully conducting the exam but also bringing out the result in record one week’s time.
