VISAKHAPATNAM: To cater to the needs of the visitors to the Visakhapatnam International Airport, two e-toilets outside the terminal building will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 12 lakh. The site inspection by the team from Eram Scientific Solutions Pvt Ltd has been completed and two sites have been selected for construction of e-toilets.
Since the visitors to the airport need to walk down to the washroom near the parking area which is 400 metres from the building, the authorities have decided to provide washrooms near the terminal building to felicitate the visitors who either come to receive or send off their friends and relatives.
While the facility of providing seating arrangement for the visitors has been completed, airport director Vinod Sharma said, “The e-toilets shall start operating in a month for
visitors’ convenience.”
