ELURU: The last rites of beautician A Vijayalakshmi alias Sirisha who died under suspicious circumstances in Hyderabad, were performed at Mattapartivaripalem in Achanta mandal on Thursday. Her husband Satish Chandra performed the last rites. She was found dead in a photography institute at Film Nagar in Hyderabad, which was linked to suicide of Kukunoorpally Sub-Inspector P Prabhakar Reddy.

Sirisha was married to Satish Chandra of Mattapartivaripalem in Valluru panchayat one and half decades ago. Later, the couple shifted to Hyderabad. They used to visit Mattapartivaripalem for all family functions. She along with her husband attended a marriage at the house of their relatives at Valluru recently.

Speaking to mediapersons, Satish Chandra alleged that his wife was murdered. He said his wife was not a coward to commit suicide. He demanded a thorough inquiry into the suspicious death of his wife to unravel the truth. Vallabhaneni Rajkumar, owner of RJ Photography Institute, his friend Tejaswini and Kukunoorpally SI Prabhakar Reddy’s friend Sravan Kumar should be questioned in connection with the death of Sirisha, he said.

Sirisha’s mother Ramalakshmi said injuries were found on the body of her daughter. She urged the Telangana State government to conduct a thorough probe into the death of her daughter.
