VISAKHAPATNAM: The much anticipated SriLankan Airlines which will kickstart its services from Visakhapatnam to Colombo from July 8, would operate four times a week-on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, said members of Tours and Travels Association.
Addressing the newsmen here on Thursday, the members said that the flight would take off from Colombo at 7.10 am on the scheduled days and land in Vizag airport at 9.10 am.
It would again take off from Visakhapatnam at 10.10 am and land in the Sri Lanka capital at 12.15 am.
The passengers who book tickets on special economy fares till May 17 can travel till November-end to the cities like Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore too.
The SriLankan Airlines also announced 20 per cent discount on tickets on all several routes from Visakhapatnam.
The airlines has flights from Visakhapatnam to Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, London, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Male, Seychelles, Dubai, Bahrain, Muscat, Abh Dhabi, Doha, Riyadh and Jeddah.
