TIRUPATI: Justice Thottathil B Radhakrishnan said that with the benign blessings of Lord Venkateswara, he would carry forward the vision of being the Chief Justice of Hyderabad High Court for the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The Chief Justice was on his maiden thanksgiving visit to Tirumala and had darshan of the Lord twice on Sunday.
Speaking to the media after darshan, the Chief Justice said that he was looking forward to working with eminent people dealing with judiciary of the area. “The people of AP and TS are always known for their cultural identity and high-level education and their commitment towards national growth,” he said.
Earlier, the Chief Justice, along with his family, had darshan of Lord Venkateswara during Suprabhata Seva. Later, during break darshan, he offered prayers first to Lord Varaha Swamy and Swamy Pushkarini as per the temple tradition.
On his arrival at the main entrance of Tirumala temple, he was accorded Isthikaphal welcome by the priests in a traditional manner. After darshan of Lord Venkateswara, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam by Vedic pundits at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal and Tirumala In-charge JEO P Bhaskar presented Sesha Vastram, laminated photo of Lord and Theertha Prasadam to the Chief Justice. District Judge Junaid Ahmed Moulana, temple Deputy EO Harindranath, Peshikar Ramesh, reception officials Balaji, Lokanadham and others were present.
