ELURU: A day after YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took a dig at Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan calling him a ‘nitya pellikoduku’, the latter on Wednesday, without taking names, said he would not hesitate to retaliate to “factionists”.

“If I start talking about other people’s personal lives, all these faction leaders won’t be able to imagine the severity of the repercussions,’’ Pawan said at a party workers’ meeting in Bhimavaram.

“If people involved in sand mafia and scandals have the guts to speak in such a tone, how much guts should a person who is committed to fight for the people have? If you try to intimidate me, I will peel your skin off,’’ he threatened. “I may not have knives and bombs to defend myself, but every worker of Jana Sena has guts as explosive as a hundred bombs,” he said to thunderous applause.

Meanwhile, TDP leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy backed Pawan saying he never thought Jagan could stoop to the level of making personal attacks. Jana Sena party workers protested at Nalugu Kalla Mandapam in Tirupati demanding an apology from Jagan.
