BANGALORE: The state government on Saturday effected transfer of six IPS and four IAS officers.

IPS officers

ST Ramesh, DG and IGP has been given additional charge of MD, Police Housing Corporation.

AR Infant has been promoted to the rank of DGP and posted as DG (Training).

Rupak Kumar Dutta has been posted as Addl DG (Law and Order).

Dr Harshavardhan Raju has been made Addl DG (Recruitment and Training).

Bhaskar Rao has been transferred as IGP (Anti-Terrorist cell).

KSR Charan Reddy, DIG, who had been promoted as IGP and transferred to Davangere to take over the Eastern Range, has been retained in Bangalore in the Internal Security Division.

IAS officers

Subhash Chandra Khuntia has been posted as principal secretary, PWD.

V Umesh has been made Principal Secretary, Cooperation.

Amita Prasad has been given the posting of Principal Secretary, DPAR. She will continue to hold the post of Director General, Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, until further orders.

T Sham Bhat has been made the Commissioner of Transport and Road Safety. He will continue in charge as Executive Member and CEO of KIADB till further orders.
