Textile park at Gurmitkal

Textile Minister Baburao Chinchansur on Tuesday said that a textile park will be set up in backward Gurmitkal taluk in Yadgir district at a cost of Rs1,000 crore.

In his maiden press conference after taking charge as the Textile Minister ,Chinchansur said that the proposed park will be set up near Kadechur and Badihal villages near Gurmitkal.

Chinchansur represents Gurmitkal Assembly constituency which was represented by Union Minister Mallikarjun Kharge for record eight times till 2008. “The government has already acquired 3,500 acres to set up industries. Of which 1,000 acres will be used for the park,” he said.
