Express News Service

Legislative Council member and BJP leader G Madhusudhan has resumed his campaign against the establishment of a central university in Srirangapatna named after Tipu Sultan by demanding the resignation of Union Minority Affairs Minister K Rahman Khan.

Speaking at a press conference, he said, “Establishing this university will create communal hatred and separatism. Rahman Khan should resign or must be dismissed from the Union Cabinet.”

“When other universities provide equal educational opportunities to minorities, what is the rationale in having a university to cater to their needs?” Madhusudhan asked.
