MYSORE: Poacher Saravanan, also known as ‘Junior’ Veerappan, was produced before the Kollegal court on Thursday evening.
He has been sent to Chamarajanagar jail.
Saravanan is wanted in more than five cases related to poaching in the state.
The Kollegal Forest Officers reached Salem (Tamil Nadu) with a body warrant as Saravanan had got bail from a court in Salem district, said Kollegal DFO Javeed Mumtaz.
He said that the poacher, wanted in five cases, including attacking forest personnel, will be tried in Kollegal court.
