Vet Department Recruitment Notified

BENGALURU: The state government has notified for filling vacant posts in the Veterinary Department, including teaching and non-teaching, at Veterinary University in Bidar.

Minister for Animal Husbandry T B Jayachandra told reporters that the state has already obtained permission from the State Election Commission in view of the gram panchayat poll code and notified to recruit 350 veterinary doctors in the first phase. There are 700 vacant posts, he said. He said the decision has been taken to fill 46 professors, 77 associate professors and 99 assistant professors’ posts besides 252 non-teaching staff in veterinary varsity.
