MANDYA: In a tragic incident, three girls feared drowned in a canal in Srirangapatna taluk on Saturday evening.
Police said that the incident took place at the canal near Sri Cauvery Boredevaru Temple on the outskirts of Mandya Koppalu village in the taluk.
Police said that Hani (14), Afreen (13) and Janiya (13) have feared drowned in the canal. The fire department personnel are searching for the missing girls.
