ALAPPUZHA: Co-operat ion Minister G Sudhakaran has said that a coir producing machine factory would be set up in Alappuzha in 2009-2010 period.
He was speaking after inaugurating the distribution of financial assistance to the Coir Cooperative Societies at Pathirapally near here on Tuesday. “A considerable enhancement will be made in the next year with the financial aid to the coir workers who are the members the Coir Workers’ Welfare Board,” the minister said.
