THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of Independence Day, 18 police officials from the state will be awarded the President’s police medal.
Vishista Seva Medal for distinguished service will be presented to ADGP Mahesh Kumar Singla and N Gopalakrishnan. IG T K Vinod Kumar and Yogesh Gupta have been selected for meritorious service awards.
DIG Manoj Abraham, SPs Jacob Job, M Muralidharan Nair, K Scaria, ACP K S Sreekumar, KAP commandant C Sophy, P Rajan, K Vijayan, P K Radhakrishna Pillai (Intelligence Department), T N Sankaran Kutty, Palakkad Jail Superintendent A J Mathew, K C Kuriachan, C S Mani and I B Sreenivasan ( Kochi CBI unit) also bagged the President’s medal.
