KANNUR: In a freak birth, a lamb was born with a face similar to that of a human being at Pallikkara near Pazhayangady in the district here.It was on Monday evening that one of the sheep reared by a poor Muslim family at Pallikkara gave birth to the strangelooking baby.
The sheep had given birth to two lambs. One of the lambs, which appeared very normal, died soon after it was born. Strangely, the freak with the humanface survived.The lamb with the human face was alive till late on Tuesday evening. But, how long it will manage to survive is difficult to predict.
