Kunhalikutty backs Ebrahim Kunju

Express News Service

Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty has come out in support of PWD Minister Ebrahim Kunju’s controversial remarks about the dominance of Muslim League in the state government. He was speaking at the district convention of IUML activists at Erattupetta here on Friday.

Kunhalikutty said that Kunju is the leader of a dignified party and did not say anything that crossed the line of decency. “Our ministers have always spoken judiciously. There is an attempt to blame the League for every issue under the sun. When our party does something with good intentions, a communal colour is given to it.

“Some people are jealous of our achievements and strength. We have faced such criticism all through the years,” he said.

He also said that the Muslim League wishes to have good relations with the majority communities and the party was trying to prepare youngsters for a better future by making them experts in the field of science and technology.
