Shukkoor case: 5 more get bail

The Kerala High Court on Wednesday granted bail to five CPM activists who are accused in the Shukkoor murder case. The court granted bail to 31st accused A V Babu, 20th accused A Sareesh, 32nd accused Sumesh K V, 33rd accused A Anoop, 34th accused K V Sajith, all hailing from Kannapuram in Kannur.

Justice P Bhavadasan directed the accused to execute a bond for Rs 25,000 and present two solvent sureties for the like amount. The court asked them not to enter the Kannapuram police station premises and tamper with the evidence.
