King Khan in Munnar for ‘Chennai Express’ shooting

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan arrived at the hill station for the shoot of ‘Chennai Express’ on Saturday.

Immediately after the arrival he left for Devikulam lake for the shoot. Khan reached Kochi airport by 11 am and travelled to Munnar by road. Deepika Padukone, who is doing the lead role, had completed her shoot earlier in the day. The romance comedy is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan under the production house Red Chillies Entertainment. The film is being shot at locations like Devikulam Lake, Meeshapulimala, Wagavara and Kannimala.

Khan has a ten-day schedule at the hill station. The superstar was scheduled to arrive on Friday but changed plans due to his engagement with IPL, as he is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, a major team in the league.
